The place looked great.

Not to mention how wonderful our Whiskey Nurse and Jungle Bunny were ! Thank you everybody !

A Story [Dec. 29th, 2004|02:20 pm]
[Current Music |Lily's Lonely Song Volume 1]

...a Story

Once upon a time, deep in the forest, there was a small deer-girl named Lily. When she was a baby her parents were taken from her and she was left in the forest all alone.
As time passed Lily grew to be clever and strong. On warm summer nights she would sit for hours in the stream and wonder how fun it would be to live in the water. Lily had made a small shack for herself in the woods and called it Kissin' town. She was no longer afraid to be alone. She knew her enemies by sight and by smell and she knew how to enter the nearby villages unseen. There were many nights where Lily would sneak into a village to steal babies, claiming that they still smelled fresh so she had better bury them in the forest quickly. Although small, Lily had learned how to defend herself against the townspeople. She was quite dangerous.
Afternoons would go by, Lily would play her musical saw in the woods and invite her friends over for tea parties.
"Benjamin Bunny, would you like another sugar cookie?" she would ask as Benjamin clumsily tipped over his tea cup.
"Mr. Racoon, would you kindly stop your sneaking about!".
Lily did talk alot but quite often she did not make any sense, or so you would think. One day as the afternoon was going by she said,
"I'll tell you a secret that I have." ......
Benjamin Bunny began to shake and dropped his carrot into the tea, Mr. Racoon's eyes became wide and curious, Madame butterfly and the squirrels fluttered around anxiously as Lily leaned in to tell her special secret.
"One day I am going to have big HORNS on my head like my father Buck." Lily whispered intensely.
"Lily, they are called antlers " replied Madame Butterfly, "and I can already see them."
"Yes but my horns are special.", said Lily "Before my mother was taken away she told me that one day the magick would start and I would learn what my antlers can do !!"
"WHAT CAN THEY DO ?!!" cried Benjamin Bunny stomping his feet in excitment.
Lily looked down and shuffled her feet into the moss, "I don't know yet", she said.
"Don't worry Lily", said Madame Butterfly, "your antlers are beautiful and when the time is right, you will know."
Lily smiled and started to dance wildly on the table. Everyone laughed and smiled. They contiuned their party late into the night, no one even noticed when Lily snuck off towards a Villiage in search of babies.

Three Glorious Days in Edmonton [Dec. 6th, 2004|10:51 pm]
Dear Diary,

Edmonton is so lovely. Incredible things happen there. Mr.Gay.... I could hardly wait to see him again. He, Tash and friends had decorated the Rompass room for us, cooked us lovely dinners... and kept us warm with herbal teas. Edmonton was -22 when we came back through the second time....burrrrr Cold ! We decided to spend one of our days off at the movies. It was so fun to run around in the theatres's all day, playing air hockey, eating popcorn and slurping super huge sodas. I saw World Police and Shaun of the Dead. I think Hank went and saw spiderman 2 (again).

Because of all the lovely folks we met in Edmonton I’d have to say it was one of my favorite stops on our entire trip.
It is a special day when Lily Fawn can drink a Man of 6’5 under the table... so thanks Edmonton for buying me all those shots of Tequilla and whiskey.
Hank and I went up to the radio for a live interview and had a blast !
All in all Edmonton is Fantastic !
Matt Allen ... HURRAY
